Arrival questions
What is the check-in time?
What is the check-in time?
For camping pitches, check-in time is 2:00 PM. This gives us the time to mow the pitches and clean any private sanitary facilities between departure and arrival.
On the day itself, you can contact us to ask what the possibilities are for arriving earlier.
It is of course possible that you arrive later than 5:00 PM. We would appreciate it if you contacted us in advance by phone or email.
Telephone number: 0342-471274
mail: receptie@ackersate.nl
How does check-in work?
How does check-in work?
Check-in is via the reception: our employees are ready for you. On very busy days, it is also possible that our employees are outside. In that case, you can stay in the car and they will provide you with all the information you need.
Even if you have been there before, you must physically check in with one of our employees. After checking in, the license plate system will be activated.
Does the barrier open automatically?
Does the barrier open automatically?
The barrier will open for you after you have checked in. Our reception staff will activate the license plate recognition on the barriers during check-in.
The barrier is closed in the evening after 11:30 PM due to peace and quiet in the park. If you arrive later or return to the park after a day out, you can park in the paid parking lot on Harremaatweg. Take a ticket and walk past the reception with the ticket the next morning. Our employees will validate this so that you can then leave for free.
Someone else will bring the caravan.
Someone else will bring the caravan.
Of course that is possible! On the day of arrival, a second (or third) car can always enter the park to load and unload items. This does not have to be reported and can be arranged upon arrival.
If this car remains during the entire stay, it must be registered and paid for. We would appreciate it if this was reported to us before arrival.
A guest has arrived, now what?
A guest has arrived, now what?
Cosy! Guests pay the overnight rate for an extra person plus the government levies for the nights they stay. In 2024/2025, this is €9.25 per night. In return, they also get access to the swimming pool and the sanitary building. You can arrange this at the reception.
Make sure you bring all the access wristbands to the reception when you arrange this. The access wristbands are linked to each other per reservation. This way we can create a new wristband for everyone, including the guest.
We have visitors coming tomorrow, is this allowed?
We have visitors coming tomorrow, is this allowed?
Just arrived at your beautiful spot, you are asked if friends can come over. Is this possible? Of course! Visitors can park in the paid parking lot on the Harremaatweg. There is a parking meter there to pay. Then you can welcome them to our beautiful holiday park yourself. You do not have to report this to the reception.
Visitors' pets are not allowed. Do the visitors also want to go into the swimming pool? Then you can buy tickets at the outdoor pool. If closed, you can go to the reception.

On all camping pitches with the exception of Basis Extra and Bijenkorf there is a possibility to connect the television. The television must support MPEG4 for it to work. On the day of departure, you leave the place before the indicated time. We would like it if you would come and say goodbye at the reception, but this is not strictly necessary. You can also put all your belongings in the letterbox at the barrier and go home.
