Cycling from Ackersate

Holiday park Ackersate is the ideal starting point for a cycling tour through and over the Veluwe.

There are plenty of good cycle paths and cycle routes in the vicinity of Voorthuizen through the forests, along the meadows and over the heath. Visit other villages and places in the area or cross the Veluwe with the help of the cycling junctions and ANWB mushrooms.

Renting bicycles

Would you like to explore the area by bike, but haven't brought any bicycles with you? You can rent bicycles at Ackersate Holiday Park! We rent children's bicycles, unisex bicycles, mountain bikes and electric bicycles. On some bicycles it is possible to rent a child seat.

To rent the bicycle, go to reception where you can arrange everything. Take a look in advance at our bicycle rental to see what we have. If you remember the number on the bicycle, you can immediately record that specific bicycle.

Think of your own cycling route? Download the free application on your smartphone or tablet and create your own cycling route using the ANWB mushrooms. The cycling junction map can also be purchased at the Ackersate reception.
